Ryan’s Page
Hello World! Apparently you’re supposed to say that here on the world wide web. I don’t really do a lot of computer stuff but Callie wants me to make a page here on her website about myself, to immortalize ourselves I guess. So here we go!
I’m Ryan K, 17, Callie’s BFF. I play keyboard well enough to be in the band and I really enjoy running and reading!
I’m hoping to be a classic literature professor when I get older. Currently as of writing this I’m writing a paper on Dostoevsky’s collected works, which has been really fun! -Okay, Callie (who promised not to read over my shoulder) is laughing at me and telling me to write about something “cool” here, not just about “boring books” but she is reading the copy of Letters from the Underworld I lent her so how boring is it really!
Well, Cal and I met in 5th grade. She walked me to the nurses office after I got hit in the face by a dodgeball at recess. She laughed at me then too, but as soon as she realized that I was actually hurt she started yelling at the person who kicked it at me instead.
I think everyone needs someone like that in their life.
Forgive me, world, for being sentimental. Maybe I’m starting to see the point of this blogging. My therapist tells me that writing things down is a great way to sort through your thoughts- however, I’m still unconvinced if it outweighs the existential horror of having to actually confront those thoughts at all.
Ah there we go, that’s more like normal Ryan. Getting all sad weird about things.
Well, here’s a collection of photos of Callie to get back at her for making me do this. This blog is her immortality, not mine. Goodbye Internet! Ryan Out!
